"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God." - Colossians 3:16
There is a quote from Martin Luther that says “Next to the Word of God, the noble art of music is the greatest treasure in the world.” God has given His children the gift of music, and the best way to thank Him for it is by offering it back to Him. Music is a beautiful and effective way to connect a congregation to God’s Word.
Faith Lutheran has been my home church for over two decades, and I am incredibly blessed to be the music director for my church family. In addition to playing piano and organ for the services, I conduct our vocal choir, the Faith Cantorum, and our handbell choir, the Exultation Ringers. I studied Church Music at Concordia University Irvine, where I was in the Concordia Choir and Concert Handbells and graduated with my Bachelor's degree.
Please feel free to contact me at email@example.com with any thoughts or questions about the music of Faith Lutheran Church. Our ensembles are always open and welcoming new members of all skill levels; please contact me for rehearsal times and drop in to see us!
